Why Film

‍ ‍ Film photography slows everything down. It invites intention, patience, and presence in a way digital doesn’t offer. Every frame matters because there’s no instant preview or endless retakes, just trusting the moment as it unfolds.

That’s what I love about it. Film captures not just how something looks, but how it feels. The grain, color, and imperfections create images that feel nostalgic and real as if you’re recalling a memory.

For me, film isn’t just a medium. It’s a way of seeing and preserving moments as they truly are.

The Process

Shooting on film does mean letting go of instant results.

After the shoot, the images aren’t seen right away. They’re sent to a lab to be developed, and that waiting becomes part of the experience. When you finally receive your photos, it feels like you’re reliving those moments all over again.

It’s a slower process, but it’s an addition to your photoshoot that makes the final images feel truly worth it.
